  • Worked on our portfolio projects - fingerprint analysis.
  • Reminder: your fingerprint analysis project is due on Monday December 3rd.
  • Tips: follow the handout you received, you need to complete all of the things listed on it, remember this is worth nearly 10% of your grade.
  • We will do our class fingerprint analysis on Friday - be ready.
  • Have you finished the worksheets from yesterday: recognizing word problem patterns & filling out your "study" sheet with examples of how to solve problems?
  • Reminder: Quiz tomorrow - uniform motion, developing formulas.

Today in SCIENCE we:

  • Worked on our portfolio projects - chemistry timeline.
  • Reminder: your chemistry timeline project is due on Monday November 26, 2007.
  • Tips: follow the handout you received, you need to complete all of the things listed on it, remember this is worth nearly 10% of your grade.

  • Got a Worksheet to help us identify types of word problems. Finish the "how to" worksheet.
  • Talked about different types of word problems and wrote our OWN sheet of notes to help us solve them. Finish this for Wednesday.
  • Worked on our portfolio projects, due on MONDAY DECEMBER 3, 2007.
Today in SCIENCE we:
  • Reviewed how the model of the atom developed. What other word could we use for developed?
  • Why are patterns important in chemistry?
  • Do c&r sia9 p121 #11, 12, & 14.
  • Do c&r sia9 p125 #1-8.
  • Don't forget to finish your notes for these sections. They will help you complete your portfolio project which is due on MONDAY NOVEMBER 26, 2007.

  • It is expected that you have been working on notes for this section as they are a part of the requirements for your timeline project.

  • Did a lab together about physical & chemical changes. What are physical & chemical changes?
  • READ sia9 p106-107, make sure your chart is filled out.
  • Questions: sia9 p107 #19-23. Due Wednesday, make SURE you have a proper title & that you write out the question.
  • Are you finished all of your c&r and ayl?
  • Hand in your paragraph about Magic Mud: is it solid or liquid? Why do you think that? What evidence do you have to support this?
