Wednesday May 21, 2008

  • Come to class prepared.
  • Do NOT ask to go to your locker.
  • In case you have forgotten, you need to bring a PENCIL, an ERASER, a CALCULATOR, your TEXTBOOKS, and PAPER to write on.
  • Don't forget to bring any other materials you need for the day.
  • When you are in Math & Science you are to be working on Math & Science.
  • When you are in Humanities, you are to be working on Humanities.
  • Use your class time wisely, an independent learner does this & does not need to do their work in other classes.
  • An INDEPENDENT LEARNER does not need to be told this.

Today in MATH we:

  • Wrote our unit final for chapter 7, Shape & Space.
  • Handed in our cheat sheets that we made for our unit final. They are worth marks.
  • If you do not have your own calculator, you had better get one. This has been a course requirement since the begining of the year. I do NOT have any calculators left for you to use.
  • If you try to share a calculator on any test/quiz from now until the end of the year you will receive a zero. You have been warned of this consequence repeatedly.

Today in SCIENCE we:

  • Reviewed for our SPACE unit final tomorrow.
  • Worked on our Concept Maps, one for each section in the space unit....you should have 4 maps in total. You will hand these in.
  • DO sia9 p475 #28-34.

ALL THE REST:

  • Mr. Brash will try to summit Mt. Everest this week. Check out his blog, which camp is he at now? What is the altitiude? How high has he climbed? Almost at the top of the world!!
